Important business lessons

from the Golden State Warriors win.

1. There’s two kinds of talented people The ones able to recognize when they have to sacrifice being in the spotlight to ensure the best possible outcomes for the team The ones who work for the spotlight to ensure the best possible outcomes for themselves

2. Amassing talent is just a part of the goal, ensuring that personalities and talents can work together is next and then maintaining that culture of collaboration is key to success.

3. Steve Kerr was able to maintain his team, motivate his players and empower his assistant coach even though he was WFH for most of the playoffs--- good leadership doesn’t linger over your shoulder; good leadership empowers you.

4. People outside your organization will criticize, hate on and ultimately motivate you---don’t tune it out use it as fuel.

5. Share all your wins, big or small share them all.

6. Give everyone full vision of the court (big picture) and empower them to pass the ball when they see the opportunity.

7. Having the best offense doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice on defense.

8. Having your mom by your side helps…it helps a lot.
